This is an I.R. laser, finger pointer used by helicopter pilots to point out to others what he want them to see. It can only be seen while using night vision equipment ! This is no toy, it is a 175mW laser that can cause eye damage if improperly used. The Air Commander’s Pointer (ACP) is a long-range infrared pointer and illuminator designed specifically for combat aviators and aircrew. You can easily point out something at 3 to 5 miles.
